On Monday July 4th, 2022, Marjorie Marsh from Grove City, Ohio, passed away at the age of 94 from natural causes.
Marjorie was born on November 25th, 1927 in Columbus, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Rose Diehr, brothers Frederick, Harold, John, and Richard Diehr and sisters Helen Rhodes, Clara Raynard, Betty Diehr and Mary Watson, son in law Michael Miller and beloved husband Frank Marsh.
Marjorie was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School. She met Frank Marsh and they were married on January 12th, 1951. Marjorie was a devoted wife, loving mother, involved grandmother and great-grandmother. Marjorie resided in Grove City, Ohio for over 65 years and in that time, she supported local charities and was an active member of her church. Marjorie was raised in the Lutheran church and carried that faith throughout her life. Marjorie joined Saint John's Evangelical Lutheran Church when she and Frank first moved to Grove City. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her proudest moments were spent with the family that she created.
Marjorie is survived by her daughters Peggy Saiben (Clint Saiben), Debbie Jarrell (Lee Friend) granddaughter Melaney New (David New Jr.) and great-grandchildren Maddyson New and David Michael New.
A gathering for Marjorie will be held on Monday July 11th, 2022, at 11:00am followed by church services at 12pm at Saint John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3220 Columbus Street, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Family and friends are welcome to follow the procession to Green Lawn Cemetery.
The family is asking in lieu of flowers donations be made in Marjorie's name to St. Johns.
