Marjorie J. Rhodes

Marjorie J. Rhodes age 99, of Grove City Ohio, passed away on September 27, 2023. She was born to George and Minnie (Sheridan) Welker. Marjorie was married to Dusty Rhodes for 41 years before his passing in 1985. Along with her husband and parents she was proceeded in death by three sisters, Mona Jane, June, Janette.

In Marjorie's 99 years, she enjoyed reading, easy listening music, needle point. She loved being with her family and grandkids, playing games with them often. Marjorie was incredibly active, working retail until the age of 92 years. Hosting holiday parties with family members will be remembered for years to come. Not only did she love music, but especially polka music. She even hosted some karaoke parties. Marjorie's Christmas fudge was hard to beat and enjoyed by many.

Marjorie is survived by; Brother George Welker, Daughter Larice Penyak, Son Mikel & Lana Rhodes. Grandchildren; Darrell (Jessica) & Michael (Tawnya) Penyak, Kimberly Snyder, Jason (Jonna) Rhodes, and Karen Jennifer Leffler, and nine Great-Grandkids. Marjorie passed two days shy of celebrating the birth of her first great-great-grandchild.
