Marjorie Elizabeth Springer age 91, passed away Monday August 16, 2004 at The Friendship Village Nursing Center. She is survived by daughters Lynne (Jack) Briggs of Columbus and Joyce Springer of Columbus; sister Narelle Cisler of Canton Ohio; grandchildren Heidi Briggs and Scott (Laura) Briggs, great grandson Jacob Briggs and a host of nieces and nephews. Born in Sharon Ohio, she was a graduate of Ohio University and taught public schools for several years. She was a long time member and dedicated servant of Glen Echo Presbyterian Church of Columbus Ohio. Visitation will be Wednesday August 18, 2004 from 3-5 and 7-9 at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road Columbus Ohio; Funeral service will be Thursday August 19, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home. Pastors Leland Platt and Gene Mast officiating. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Columbus Ohio. Arrangements completed with Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
