Mark Edward Balling Sr.

Mark Edward Balling Sr. (Pappy) - a devoted and loving father, grandfather and brother passed away on August, 28th 2024. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 20th 1957 to father, Thomas Joseph Balling and mother, Ella Florence Balling (née Crabbe). 

Pappy was a hard working man, with a stoic exterior but a sensitive and caring soul. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones by cracking jokes and sharing stories. He loved reminiscing about the old time with his siblings and spreading wisdom to his sons. He was a charismatic man who could make anyone laugh and had never met a stranger. You would always find Mark by a TV with a bengals or Buckeye game on with either a Mountain Dew or a Miller Lite in his hand - he was the life of the party. He will be dearly missed and always remembered. 

Mark is survived by sons Mark Balling Jr. and David Balling, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grand children and brother Dennis Balling (Sharon Balling).

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm, Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
