Mark "KA8FLI" Alan Cottrill, 52, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2008 at home. Mark was born to Ray and Arlene Cottrill on January 6, 1956 in Wellston, Ohio. Mark was employed by Netjets for 14 years and was the number 3 aircraft cleaner in the world. He was a member of the Central Ohio Radio Club and was an amateur extra. In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his daughters, Sarah (Teddy Locke) Cottrill, Katie (Nick) Hilton, and Chelsea Cottrill; grandson, Kyle Locke; and sister, Kathy (John) Rost. Visitation will be held Monday, August 11, 2008 from 9:00AM-11:00AM and 4:00PM-6:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 6:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow Tuesday at Hamden Cemetery, Vinton County, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 2225 Citygate Dr. Suite E, Columbus, Ohio 43219.
