Mark Gene Gannon passed away December 24, 2005 at his home in Grove City. Born January 11, 1960, to the late Ralph and Jean (Fritz) Gannon, Mark is survived by his wife Karen (Ford); daughters, Kaylie Gannon , Sara and Christina Malone; sister, Clara (Bob) Harding; brother, Matthew (Renee) Gannon; stepmother, Betty Gannon; niece, Krista (Martin) Foy and family; nephews, Luke Harding, Noah and Jacob Gannon; aunt and uncle, Fred and Joan Erdy; mother and father in-law, Gerald and Patricia Ford of Oxford, WI, and a loving extended family and a lifetime of wonderful friends. Mark was a 1978 graduate of Grove City High School. After a year long battle with cancer, Mark is now at peace in heaven. A gentle and kind man, Mark will be remembered for his love of soccer, the outdoors, and the Cleveland Browns. But, above all else, he loved his girls—Karen, Kaylie, Sara and Christina. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00PM Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio with a prayer service to begin at 7:30PM. A funeral mass will be held 10:00AM Thursday, December 29, 2005 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 3730 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. A private inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for Kaylie's college fund. Checks should be made payable to Kaylie Gannon in care of Huntington National Bank 4141 Hoover Rd., Grove City, Ohio.
