Mark Alan Haller, 64, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away on January 27, 2022, after a fierce battle with cancer. He will forever live on in our hearts through his love of storytelling, his music ministry, and all the lives he has touched throughout his life. Mark celebrated his love for music for forty years as a music minister, playing guitar and bass guitar for various churches. He served at the University of Dayton's Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, St. Leonard Catholic Church, St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Glenwood United Methodist Church, and the Grove City campus of Cypress Church. He also served at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church's yearly Bible Camp as Music Director for seventeen years. Mark loved sharing his passions of cooking and gardening with his wife Stacey, as well as sharing his love of aircraft, Euchre, movie trivia, music, and the outdoors with his and her children. Anyone who knows Mark, knows that he was a master at storytelling whose stories will forever carry on his legacy. He has fulfilled his namesake and left his "Mark" on Earth.
Mark graduated from Fairmont West High School in 1975 and from Wright State University in 1985 with a Bachelor's in Communication. He went on to work at various jobs as a technical writer over the years and was most recently employed by JPMorgan Chase. No matter where he worked, though, it was the people he worked with that mattered the most to him.
Mark is survived by his wife Stacey of ten years; his three children, Caitlin Haller, Zach Haller, and Tori Haller; his stepdaughters Sarah Overturf, Abbey Davis (Aaron), and Hannah Rasnic (Jonathan); and his grandchildren Brynnlee, Claire, Layton, Mia, and Nolan. He is also survived by his sister Lisa Stabler (Mike), nieces Chloe and Karen, and many other close friends and relatives. Mark is preceded in death by his parents George and Nedra Haller. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
