Mark A. Johns

Mark A. Johns, age 60 of Columbus, OH passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Mark was born in Toledo, OH to Lacy C. Johns and Clifford Snelling Jr. on October 20, 1961. He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandmother (Alice Sloan McCray), maternal grandfather (Walter Johns Sr.), and his paternal grandfather (Clifford Snelling Sr.). He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Minnie Johns, a son Markus (Nakita) Johns, and a daughter Angel Bradley. Three grandchildren (Darron Dozier, LaDaysheia Hampton, and Miles Johns), and four great-grandchildren (LaNai, Navi, Divine, and Jasiah). Five brothers, Joseph (Elisa) C. Goines Jr., Eric W. Goines, La'thaniel (Renay) Johns, Kurtis L. Goines, Ray Snelling, and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was loved by many. Mark loved cooking for his family and friends, he was a lifetime mechanic and loved Law and Order TV series.
Family will receive guest Thursday, February 24th from 5:30pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, February 25, 2022, at 2pm at Providence Baptist Church, 112 W. 6th Street, Mansfield, Ohio 44903.
