Mark Anthony Keefe

November 14, 1960 — September 22, 2024

Mark Anthony Keefe, born on November 14, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio, left this world on September 22, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and generosity. A dedicated family man, Mark cherished every moment spent with his beloved, Lynn, and his son, Alex, along with his treasured grandchildren: Corey, Cassie, Madison, and Morgan. It was through these relationships that he found the greatest joy, and his pride in being a grandpa was immeasurable.

Throughout his career, Mark was known for his expertise and commitment. From 1999 to 2020, he served as a senior system analyst for DSW, before taking on a new role at Express Inc., where he continued to bring his talents and enthusiasm to technology. Mark was not just skilled in his profession; he was a friend to all, embodying a spirit of warmth and support. He was always ready to lend a hand, whether it was helping a friend with a tech dilemma or crafting something special for his grandchildren.

Mark's personality shone brightly in everything he did. He was known for his welcoming nature and his ability to bring smiles to the faces of those around him. His kind heart and generous spirit were evident not only in how he treated his family but also in how he connected with friends and strangers alike. Throughout his life, he built deep bonds that left lasting impressions. Mark was an organ donor, which continues to show even after his passing the kindness and selflessness he had in his life.

In his leisure time, Mark indulged his passions with the same fervor he had for his family. He found joy in the world of Legos and anything that sparked his interest in technology. He took great pride in keeping his yard beautifully manicured, often seen mowing and tending to it with love. Additionally, Mark enjoyed exploring new recipes and grilling, often bringing family together for delicious meals. His greatest happiness came from the time spent creating memories with his grandchildren, as he built elaborate playsets and waterslides, embodying the joy of childhood imagination.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Keefe; his son, Alex (Samantha) Keefe; and his cherished grandchildren, Corey, Cassie, Madison, and Morgan. He is also remembered fondly by his brother-in-law, Theadore (Susie) Carr; sister-in-law, Patty (James) Thompson; and his nephew, Kenton Thompson, and niece, Merritt (Adam) Thompson-Zabkar.

Mark joins his parents in eternal rest, Donald Lewis Keefe and Shirley Ann Keefe, who surely welcomed him with open arms. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. Mark Anthony Keefe not only touched the lives of his family; he left an indelible mark on everyone he met. His memory will be a guiding light for those he loved, reminding them to carry on his spirit of kindness and joy in every day they live.
