Mark Bailey Owens

Mark Bailey Owens, 54, of Columbus, Ohio passed away unexpectedly January 1st, 2017. He was born October 7th, 1962 in Staunton, Virginia to Charlie and Joy Owens. On May 13th, 1995, he married Susan Barnhill also of Columbus, Ohio. Mark worked for Wal-Mart distribution for the past 9 years and enjoyed talk radio, bowling, rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes and was a hard-working and self-less family man.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Susan; father Charlie Owens; brother David (Dianne) Owens; daughter Heather Owens; sons Justin (Katie) Moore, Ronald (Louie) Breeze III, Christopher (Angel) Breeze; grandchildren Ryan Barnhill, Madison and Joseph Owens, Marissa, Dallas and Drew Moore, Summer, Ronnie Lee IV, Autumn, and Brelynn Breeze, Ralph and Tyler Hettinger, and Aulbree Breeze.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother Joy (Bailey) Owens.

Mark graciously donated his organs to save others.

Visiting hours will be held from 5-7 pm on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway in Grove City. Funeral services to be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2017 with interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway.
