Marla B. Brooke, 60, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away October 17, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her step father, Paul Steg; and her grandmother, Inang.
Surviving family includes her loving husband of 27 years, David Brooke; daughters, Kelsi Hutchinson (Brian), Melissa Finnerty (Tim); grandchildren, Noah, Madison, Devyn, Kaleb, Emily, Harper, Dawson; mother, Miguela Steg; siblings, Dario, Catherine; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was born in Bagac Bataan, Philippines on August 28, 1961. At 10 years old, she came to the U.S. Marla worked most of her life in the restaurant industry.
She met her husband in Columbus in the early 90's. They enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She loved traveling, OSU Football, cooking and baking.
She was larger than life and had an attraction that drew you in and held you forever. She will be remembered forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 23, 2021 Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus - OH 43231. Funeral services will be held immediately after also at the funeral home.
