Marlene A. Smith

Marlene Agnes Smith, age 86, passed away peacefully at home January 6, 2025.

She is survived by her loving husband, Danny F. Smith, Son, Mark A. Hale, Brothers, Forrest LeeRoy (Brenda) Morlan, Terry (Kathy) Morlan many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cherished friends and neighbors.

Marlene is preceded in death by parents, Forrest M. and Louise A. Morlan, siblings, MaryLou McCain, Nellie "Nicky" (Bill) McConaha, Judy (Carl) Jacobs, Thomas "Tommy" (Wanda) Morlan, and Robert "Bobby" (Maryland) Morlan.

Marlene was a devoted wife and loving mother. She is remembered for her beautiful smile, positive attitude in life and the love of her family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 15th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 12:30 pm also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Green Lawn Cemetery.
