Marlene C. Whited

Marlene C. Whited, 81, of Grove City, Ohio passed away November 11, 2022. She was born on June 2, 1941 in Monessen, PA to the late Morris and Mary (Cabaday) Gins. She is preceded in passing by her parents and brother, Ronnie Gins.

Marlene enjoyed reading and listening to music, especially big band music. From a very young age, she loved to dance and continued to throughout her life.


Marlene loved to spend time with her family. She will be missed tremendously by all those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, William Whited; children, William (Jenni) Guzick, Mark Guzick, Sherrie Howard; grandchildren, Steven Welch, Nichole Baisden, Kelsey Howard, Nathaniel Howard; many great-grandchildren; special niece, Renee Stewart.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 18, 2022 from 10am to 12pm at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. A service officiated by Irene Scaramazza will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Garden.
