Marliese C. MacGillis, age 48 passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at her home in Columbus. She was preceded in death by her father, Mike Thornton, her mother Mary C. Thornton and her brother Kenneth Thornton. She is survived by her husband, William A. MacGillis; daughters, Shasta (Joseph) DeWitt and Julia MacGillis; son, Aaron A. (Anna) MacGillis; five grandchildren; sister, Kathy (Jeff) Balij and brother, Mike (Liz) Thornton. Viewing will be held 5:00-8:00p.m., Monday, January 16, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 11:00a.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at the Reformation Lutheran Church, 1355 S. Hamilton Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43227 with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Pastor Kathy Arbaugh-Patmon will be officiating. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
