Martha H. "Marty" Getz, 81, passed away May 17, 2013.
She was preceded in death by husband, George F. Getz Jr.; son, Thomas Getz; and grandson, Kenton Keller. Survived by daughter, Maria (Jody) Kretzer; son, George E. (Melissa) Getz; grandsons, Kevin (Lisa) Keller and George R. Getz; and great-grandson, Hunter Keller.
She worked at Beulah Park racetrack for over 30 years and was best known for her great cooking. She was also a member of The American Legion Women's Auxiliary for over 40 years.
Visitation Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 5-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 10 am at the Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marty's memory to Mount Carmel Hospice C/O Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213-9924.
