Martha H. Cook, 84, passed away Monday, October 20, 2008. Born to the late Henry and Mae Jones on September 13, 1924. Martha was a member and avid golfer at Bridgeview Golf Course. She was a lifelong member of North Park Church of Christ. Preceded in death by husband, John E. Cook Sr.; sisters, Lola and Faye; brothers, Henry, Ralph, Herb, and Steve. Martha is survived by daughter, Linda (Ed) Post; son, John E. (Susan) Cook; sisters, Betty Willie and Ruth Thompson; brothers, Charles Jones and Terry (Carol) Jones; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends. Friends may call from 3-7 P.M. Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. where the funeral service will be held Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 10 A.M. Pastor Gene Dietz officiating. Interment Blendon Central Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Central Ohio Heart Association in Martha's memory.
