Martha H. Taylor, 86, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2008. Born to the late Ellsworth and Ollie May (Dickinson) Harrison in Columbus, OH on May 30, 1921, Martha was also preceded in death by brothers, Elmer R. and Wendell R. Dickinson; sister, Irene Desserette Lenear; grandchildren, Kermit B. Allen and Daymon W.A. Dodson. Survivors include daughters, Judythe (William) Dodson and Bonnie (Charles) Cook; son, Terrill P. Taylor; sister, Edith Rogers; grandchildren, Tracie L. (Joseph) Russell, Charles P. (Sarah) Cook, Kevin L. Cook, Khary P. (Lori) Taylor; great-grandchidren, Patrick, Christopher, Cameron, Tasos, Ty, Rhyan Cook, and Taj and Khary Taylor Jr; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and host of friends. Martha was a long time member of Union Grove Baptist Church and was retired after 35 years from North American Rockwell International. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2008, 4-7 PM at Rhema Christian Center, 2100 Agler Road, Columbus, OH. Family will receive friends from 6-7 PM. Funeral service will follow with Apostle LaFayette Scales officiating. Interment will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, 11:00 AM at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Pastor Henry Johnson will officiate.
