Martha Kaufman

Martha Kaufman, 81, of Orient Ohio passed to Jesus' hands Friday, August 26, 2022. Martha was born October 12, 1940 to Glenn and Bessie (Morris) Hamilton. She was an active Christian throughout her life. In her youth, she enjoyed painting and needle point work. She was always an avid reader with a true passion for genealogical research. She began her nursing career in 1961 at Children's Hospital, Columbus in the Burn Ward. In 1977, she transitioned her love of nursing to long term care. Her career spanned over 32 years. Martha will be deeply missed by her children; Michael (Linda), Eric and Jennifer (Mullins), grandchildren; Elizabeth, Emily, Erica (Dylan Shaw), Natalie, Daniel and Julia, brothers; Glenn, Robert, Edwin (decd), Thomas and sister, Danea. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and brother.


Visitation Day, September 2, 2022 from 12 to 2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123. Funeral service will begin at 2pm with Pastor Linda Kaufman officiating. Burial will be held at West Concord Cemetery.
