Martha L. Brown Poland, 67, of Grove City, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012 at home with her loving family.
Marty was born in Milford Center, OH on January 15, 1945 to Arnold and Emma (Gilbert) Brown and is preceded in death by her parents; husband Larry Poland; and sister Nancye (Bare) Trimble.
She is survived by her 7 sisters and brother, Sara Woodruff, Jane (Joe) Dzwonkowski, Gene (Sharon) Brown, Jeanette (Rick) Zerkle, Kaye (Dennis) Garlington , Kathleen (Pete) Petrella, Marilyn (Larry) Fischer, and Emma Carole (Pete) Cooper; her daughters Kathryn and Ann McGovern; her son Patrick (Amy) McGovern; her grandchildren Patrick and Kelsey McGovern and Hunter Kinney; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marty was a loving mother, sister, and confidant; she's a retired Ohio Employee from ORW in Marysville, and then later moved to Grove City. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held 2pm, November 16, 2012, at Milford Center United Methodist Church, 55 E State St., Milford Center, OH 43045; Rev. Mardessa Baker will officiate.
