Martha M. (Olewinski) Zarichny, age 90, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010, in Columbus, OH. She was born November 19, 1920 in Toledo to the late Anthony and Lottie (Kotleski) Olewinski. Martha was an aircraft riveter during World War II and worked for the state of Ohio for several years prior to her retirement in 1985. She was an avid cook well known for her specialty Polish dishes. Martha's family will remember her as a devoted mother and grandmother who always put the needs of her family first before her own. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, George; 2 brothers, William and Chester and sister, Helen. Martha is survived by her son, Victor (Julie) Zarichny of Columbus, grandchildren, Monica (Michael) Patrick of Cincinnati, Gregory (Heather) of Columbus; great-grandsons, MJ and Luke Patrick. Graveside service will be Tuesday, December 28 at Noon in the chapel at Calvary Cemetery, Parkside Blvd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
