Marty D. Smith, 46, passed away, Saturday, June 27, 2009. Marty was an over the road truck driver for 27 years. He was preceded in death by his mother Eula Smith. Marty was survived by his daughters, Morgan Smith and Miranda Smith; son, Jared Smith; father Thurston Smith; brothers, Roger (Peggy) Smith, Gary (Joanetta) Smith and Christopher (TJ) Smith; sisters Sharon (Ron) Sanford and Esta (Pete) Boucher; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation, Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to family member Steve Sanford and sent to the funeral home.
