Marvin J. Pierce, Sr., 52, Delaware, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010. Marvin was born in Columbus, OH to James and Irene (Blair) Pierce on October 16, 1957, and is preceded in death by his father, James Pierce. Survivors include his mother, Irene Pierce (Richard) Stackpole; daughter, Sarah (Robert) Carter; sons, Marvin (Ginny) Pierce Jr and Kevin Pierce, Dave and Steve Brewer; sisters, Wanda (Larry) Scarberry, Sue and Terry Stackpole; brothers, Leonard Miller, Rick, Scott and Dave Stackpole; 5 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Marvin worked at Worthington Cylinders for 20 years. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010, 4-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Friday, March 26, 2010, 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
