Mary C. Allen, 81, of Columbus, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Joseph F. and Jessie C. (Bratton) Rott in Albany, OH, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allen Sr; sons, Steven Allen and David Duane Carothers; brother, Joseph E. Rott Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn Hayes, Karen (Hershel) Thacker, Donna (Richard) Cassel, Twila (John) Muncy, Cheryl Koon, Tami (Noie) Runyon; sons, James (Young-Ju) Hayes, Charles, Tim (Ettie), Ronald (Amber) Allen; 30 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2007, from 2-4PM & 6-8PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 12 at 10:00AM at the funeral home with interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
