Mary Ann Frazier was born May 4,1940 in Columbus Ohio to Aristide and Adelina (Ventresca) Centofanti.
Mary attended St Augustine Catholic Grade school then attended and graduated from Linden McKinley High School. She thoroughly enjoyed all types of music and sang in her high school choir. She wrote the song “Feeling For Life” which was purchased and released by George Liberace 11/1978, the brother of the world renowned pianist and singer Valentino Liberace. Mary also was an excellent portrait sketcher. She had no formal training though had a natural ability to sketch at a skilled level. Her favorite subjects to sketch were Hollywood stars and her own children. Mary also loved watching sports, mainly golf. She loved playing softball as a teen with her siblings, cousins, & friends. She coached a girls Gahanna softball team in 1970.
Mary worked at Columbia Gas for several years as an executive secretary. She then stayed home with her 5 children until eventually returning to Columbia Gas in the Accounting Department in the late 70’s.
Mary will be deeply missed by her children: Mark Frazier, Troy Frazier (Jane), Diana Lawson (Steve), Steve Frazier (Tracy), Terri Roth (Steve). Grandchildren: Kristina, Megan, Jennifer, Nick, Caroline, Anthony, Andrew, Lena, Allie, & Lily. Great-grandchildren: Kyle, Kaleb, John, Collin, Leland, Sophia, Felipe, Michael, Lottie, Emmie, Evangeline, Vivvie. Sisters: Italia Ciamacco, Raffaela Hagan
Mary Frazier was preceded in death by her parents Aristide & Adelina, Her brothers Eugene & Tony Centofanti.
Visitation will be Thursday, 5/23/24, from 10 to 11 a.m. directly followed by a service at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Burial will be at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery 6440 S High St Lockbourne, OH immediately following the service 12:30pm.
