Mary K. Bean passed away on March 25th with family by her side.
She was born in Florida on March 5, 1933 to hardworking parents, Andrew and Edna Corley. She grew up in Mobile AL, one of nine children. In 1951 she married Bill Bean, who was in the Coast Guard and stationed in Mobile. She followed him to New Jersey and Connecticut and when he retired they moved their family to Ohio, where Bill was born.
First and foremost, she was a devoted wife and mother whose life was lived in the service of her family. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by daughters Brenda (Danny) Brewbaker and Laura (Jerry) Abraham. Grandchildren Eric (Aneiage) Van Bean, Krista (Kyle) Allen, Jamie (Kim) Brewbaker, Jen (Mike) Pula, Trevor (Stacey) Abraham and Chelsea Abraham. Great grandchildren Lucia, Jackson, Lilly, Talon, Mason, Luke, Jayden, Cameron, Stella, Parker, Spencer, Skyler, Carter, Alex and Caleb. Brother David Corley and many loving nieces and nephews and their families.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, cherished son Larry, sisters Ruth, Daphne and Gina and brothers Thomas (Buddy), Verl and John. She was also preceded in death by cousins and best friends, Pete and Louise Bean.
A private service is being planned by the family.
