Mary Linda Bruce

Mary Linda Bruce age 61, of Grove City, Ohio, died of interstitial lung disease and septic shock on April 6, 2023 at 6:57pm at Ohio State University Hospital East in Columbus, Ohio.

Mary was born on April 15, 1962 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to her parents Robert and Evelyn Bombardier. She was preceded in death by both of them.

She married James M. Bruce on November 27, 1987. They met in Simi Valley, California and lived there until they and their kids moved to Ohio in 1992.

Mary is survived by her husband, James Bruce, two children, Jennifer and Steven Bruce, three grandchildren, Jakson and Olivia Lalonde, and Bria Dalton, and her seven siblings, Susan (Don) Smith, Ann (Larry) Zukowski, Roger, Robert, John, David, and Richard Bombardier.

Mary was a stay at home mother for most of her children's childhood. She worked at a jewelry store for several years before becoming the general manager at family owned Groveport Service Center for 13 years.

Mary was a family woman and an unconditional loving mother and grandmother called Nana. Her grandkids were her pride and joy, whom she spoiled rotten. Mary was a very compassionate person and had a deep love for crystals.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Grove City, OH on April 18, 2023 from 11am-1pm. The funeral service will follow, beginning at 1pm. Burial will follow at Grove City Cemetery.
