Mary Magdaline (Borders) Coleman, age 87, of Grove City, Ohio passed peacefully at her home on August 22, 2021, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born October 19, 1933 in Cryus, KY. to Manuel and Modgie Borders. Sadly Modgie passed early in Mary's life and she was raiser by her step mother, Goldie Borders. Mary attended school in Paintsville, KY., where she met and married her husband of 69 years, Charlie Coleman Jr.
Mary loved flowers and enjoyed working in her flower garden. She loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren grow. She was a devoted Christian and enjoyed spending time with her church family. She also loved doing crafts and collecting roosters.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie; sons, Ronald (Carolyn) Coleman, Jeff Coleman, Bryon (Amy) Coleman; daughters, Michele (Lee) Pennington and Melissa Repeta; also her 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and her 1 great great grandchild.
Although Mary had a deep love of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the wonderful people at Mt. Carmel Hospice who lovingly cared for her in her time of need. 1144 Dublin Rd, Columbus, OH 43215.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 11:00am at the Concord Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL.
