Mary E. Daniels, 84, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born to Jacob and Stella (LeMaster) Russell in Portsmouth on October 16, 1925, and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Daniels; eight brothers and sisters; three great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sharon Daniels. Survivors include her daughters, Gwen Parker, Nancy McPeek and Lori (J.J. Messick) France; sons, Ed Daniels, Marvin (Kathie) Daniels and Greg (Cindy) Daniels; sister, Edith Brooks; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009, 2-4PM & 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Saturday, November 14, 2009, 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The Daniels family would like to thank the FairHope Hospice and Palliative Care.
