Mary E. Cornett, 86, Gahanna, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Georgia (Legg) Crawford; husband, Dale R. Cornett; sisters, Ruth Duchnowski and Eileen Mann; brother, Harold Crawford. Survivors include her daughters, Lisa (Paul) Duvall and Brenda Cornett; son, Douglas Cornett; sisters, Naomi (Kenneth) Rogers, Ethel Foster, Eva Frances (Richard) Berger; brother, Robert (Ava) Crawford; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Saturday, February 25, 2012, 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Mifflin Cemetery. In addition, a Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2012, 12:30 PM at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 14764 Wooster Road, Mt. Vernon, OH with Reverend Susan Stevens officiating. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerColumbus.com.
