Mary Emilia Griffith, 87, of Lewis Center, passed away January 6, 2006, at St. Ann's Hospital. She was born on November 6, 1918, to Julius and Helen Mathieu. Emilia was a member of the Glen Echo U.P. Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Griffith. Emilia is survived by her daughter, Gail (Ralph) Hall; Grandsons, Jeff (Julie) Hall, Jon (Maria) Hall, Tim (Windy) Hall; Six Great-Grandchildren, Adam, Jason, Jacob, Camila, Evan, and Matthew; Sister, Gloria Cattell; two brothers, Joe and Larry Mathieu. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens 5600 E. Broad Street, Columbus. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Glen Echo U.P. Church, 220 Cliffside Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43202. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com.
