Mary was born December 6, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio to Nellie and Norman Davis. Mary is a 1947 graduate of West High School in Columbus, Ohio. She married her loving husband Sam on March 1, 1949. She was the head cashier at Albers; until Sam and Mary moved to Englewood, Florida in 1980. Once her husband passed Mary became the manager at Halmark in Venice, Florida until she retired at the age of 62. In 1997 she made her way back to Columbus,Ohio. Grandson Jason Lee lived with her for the past 15 years helping provide her with extra special love and care.

Mary was a spitfire of a woman and had no problem telling you how she felt. Some of her favorite past times included sewing and making skating outfits for her two youngest daughters. She then went on to make Halloween costumes for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary attended Saturday mass at St. Mary Magdalene until her health prevented her from continuing to attend. She picked up her three great-granddaughters throughout their school years. She had a big impact on a lot of lives and most of her family and friends would not be who we are without her today. Grandma you are loved and you will be missed.

She asked for no service as she will be cremated and the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
