Mary Hooper (nee Happ), 82, of Columbus, OH, passed away August 30, 2013. She was born on September 16, 1930.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Emmet Hooper, parents, Joseph F. Happ and Ruth A. (Lyons) Happ and brother, Joseph H. Happ.
Surviving family includes, brother, Robert Happ, sister, Ruth (Lanny) Long, sister-in-law, Darlene Happ, special nephew/caregiver, Jerry Happ and several nieces and nephews. Mary retired from White Castle System and was a lifetime member of the Eagles and AmVets Linden chapters.
Visitation will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Graveside services will be at 11am, Thursday, September 5, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto-Darby Executive Court, Hilliard, OH 43026.
