Mary Jane Girard, 87, Columbus, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Mary Jane was born in Portsmouth, OH on December 14, 1925, to Raymond C. and Margaret E. (Cromwell) Abbott and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Girard; brother, Raymond Abbott.
Survivors include her daughter, Chellis Ackers and her husband, James Patterson; brother, William (Marece) Abbott; granddaughter, Julie (Matt) Muetzel; great-grandchildren, Breanne (Zak) Nowicki, Curt Nixon, Nick Muetzel and Nina Muetzel; sister-in-law, Kathie Zowaski; niece, nephews and many friends.
Mary Jane worked for Les Davis, DDS for many years in Louisville, KY and moved to Columbus 5 years ago into Kensington Place where she was very happy.
Family and friends will gather Saturday, August 17, 2013, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Jersey Baptist Church, 13260 Morse Road SW, Pataskala, OH 43062 with the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ViaQuest Hospice, 525 Metro Place N#300, Dublin, OH 43017.
