Mary D. Jenkins

Mary Darlene (Moore) Jenkins, 82, of Columbus, died Friday, January 29, 2021 at St. Ann's Hospital.
Known to her family and friends as the "sweetest lady ever", she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She enjoyed spoiling everyone that she knew. Mary worked as a Banquet Lady at Winding Hollow Country Club for 32 years.
She then worked at Sam's Club for 12 years as a Sample Lady.
Mary was a wonderful cook known for her pickles and her potato salad.
She was born on February 3, 1938 in Marysville, OH to the late John and Bertha Stevenson Moore.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers, John Moore, Walter Moore, and William Moore, and her sister Ruth Ann Moore Ropp.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Jenkins, whom she married on March 21, 1958. Also survived by her children Keith (Melissa) Jenkins, Steve Jenkins, and Scott Jenkins; Grandchildren, Mary E. Jenkins and Madeline Jenkins; and many nieces and nephews and special friends.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 2021 from 9:00am to 11:00am with a Funeral Service immediately following, at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northeast Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.
A private burial will take place at Northlawn Memory Gardens.
