Mary Kathryn Acton of Columbus, age 95, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, died peacefully at Village of Westerville Nursing Home, Sunday, August 31, 2008. Born August 8, 1913 in Newark, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents, George L. & Catherine L. Anderson, husbands Harry M. "Bud" Globe & Clarence D. "Jabo" Acton, son Robert H. Globe, grandchildren James Knapp, John Knapp, Vicki Wolcutt-Knapp, great granddaughter Suzanne Rothe, sister Pauline Kennedy, brothers George, Frederick, Louis, Charles & Harry Anderson. Survived by children JoAnn Whaley Rothe, Nancy Knapp Coleman, Paul (Margie) Globe, twenty-one grand-children, thirty-two great grandchildren, twenty-one great great grandchildren, sisters Eleanora Durham & Angeline Pandolfo, many nieces & nephews. Mom, Gram, Sister, Aunt you are loved and will be remembered forever and greatly missed by all. Special thanks to Heartland Hospice and the Village of Westerville for your tender care. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 4, 2008, 3-5 PM & 7-9PM at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Road, Columbus. Funeral service will be Friday, September 5, 2008,11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
