Mary Kathleen Johnston

Mary Kathleen "Kay" Johnston, 93, Westerville, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Kay was born in Covington, OH, on May 20, 1922, to Martin and Naomi (McGreevey) Eberenz and is preceded in death by her parents and husband of 70 years, Gerald M. Johnston.
Survivors include her daughters, Carol (David) Miller and Suzanne "Suzy" Jennings; grandchildren, Rachael (Arthur) Smith and Ryan (Jessica) Lowery; great-grandchildren, Arthur Smith, Evelyn Smith, Logan Lowery and Alexandra Lowery; niece, nephews, cousins and friends.
Kay graduated with a degree in Music Education from The Ohio State University, where she was one of the first women to play in the concert band.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015, 3:00 PM, with visitation one hour prior, at Xenos Christian Fellowship, Study Center, 1340 Community Park Drive, Columbus, OH 43229.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Xenos Christian Fellowship.
