Mary Kenney

Mary Kenney, age 87, of Columbus passed away peacefully Saturday, January 1, 2005 at Hospice's Kobacker House. She was born April 25, 1917, in Iberia, Missouri to Charles and Emma (Woody) Welsh. She was united in marriage to John William Kenney on November 25, 1937 in St. Louis. The Kenney's moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas from Columbus in 1976. Mary returned to Columbus in May 2003. Mary was preceded in death by her husband; daughter Christina Lyn; parents; brothers Fred and Ed Walsh; and sisters Edith Byassee and Marcella Roberts. She is survived by Her daughter, Barbara (Ray) Brown of Columbus; son John W. (Janet) Kenney of Boxborough, Massachusetts; grandchildren Tyler Brown of Chicago, Illinois, Nicole Kenney and Courtney Irving of Boxborough, Massachusetts; and sisters Lula Freund of St. Louis and Mae Harlow of Bella Vista, Arkansas.Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at the first Community Village Retirement Center Chapel, Burkhart Center at 1800 Riverside Drive,Columbus.At the request of the family in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice's Kobacker House, 3595 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43214
