Mary Stella Laggah, 90, of Pickerington passed away Monday, February 21, 2011 at her residence. She was born June 20, 1920, in West Africa, daughter of the late John and Ahmie Vandy Brewah. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Laggah and daughter, Petan Kabba. She is survived by her son, Keffie (Delores) Deen; daughters, Francess (Matthew) Allen, Florence (Nana) Koomson, Florida Laggah and Floris Laggah; 23 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, March 4, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Northeast Baptist Church, 4444 Westerville Rd. Columbus, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church.
