Mary Beth Lemrick

Mary Beth (Porter) Lemrick died peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH.

Mary Beth was preceded in death by her Father Clarence "Gene" Porter, Mother Helen "Louise" (Bourne) Porter and Sister Marilyn Jean (Porter) Kleist. She is survived by Husband of 35 years, Rusty Lemrick, Son Cody Lemrick and Daughter Molly (Lemrick) Breece and son in law Robert Breece. Brother Mark Porter and his wife Lisa of Charleston, WV. Nieces Jennifer, Stacey and Amy and her Nephew Scott. Plus several Great and Great-Great nieces and
Nephews.

She is also survived by Debi Straight, her chosen sister (best friend of 40 years) and her husband Raymond. Mary Beth was born August 2, 1969 in IL but grew up in central OH. She Graduated from Groveport Madison High school in 1986. She later moved with her family to follow her parents to Clover SC. It was here she discovered her passion of working with people in need. She was a valued employee of the YMCA. She returned home to Columbus in 2012. She went on to earn an associates degree in social work from Columbus state university, Before becoming ill she was a service coordinator with the Central Ohio YWCA. Where she passionately advocated for her clients. She will be greatly missed by all the people she touched with her compassion and love.

Family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life luncheon on Sunday, January 28, 2024, 1:30 to 3:30 PM at Hoge Memorial Presbyterian Church. 2930 W. Broad Street Columbus, OH, 43204.
