Mary Lou Briggs, 73, passed away July 20, 2012 in her loving home. She was born in Columbus, OH on April 4, 1939 to Herman and Mary F. (Reeves) Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Walter Raftery.
Surviving family includes, husband Gene "Bud" Briggs, daughters, Cindy Allegretti (John Vasques), Julie Briggs (Gregg Harper), Kimberly Otten (Kevin), Nicole Briggs (Philip Wainer), brother, Bob Johnson, nephew, Rob Johnson, grandchildren, Dustin Coey, Nicholas Allegretti, Bryan Wilson (Sarah), Logan Wainer, great-grandchildren, Lilly, Kale and many other loving cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30am, Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Church of the Saviour UMC, 11239 Fancher Road, Westerville, OH 43082.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Franklin County Sheriff's Department for their assistance.
