Mary Margaret Dempsey (Helker), 96, of Columbus, Ohio (formerly of Dayton), went to be with her Lord April 8, 2011. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Beatrice Helker; husband of 38 years, John; and brothers, Gerald and Robert. She is survived by her three daughters, Cinny Dempsey of Columbus, Casey (Harry) Wert of Pennsylvania and Janie (Al) Brothers of Kettering. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, April 18th at 11 AM at the Hilliard Church of the Nazarene, 3669 Leap Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HomeReach Hospice, OhioHealth Foundation, 180 E. Broad St., FL 32, Columbus, OH 43215-9480.
