Mary Ann Mefford

Mary Ann Mefford, age 91 of Columbus, OH, passed away on June 11, 2024. She was born on May 2, 1933 to the late Homer J and Pearl F (Cooper) Burke Sr, in Columbus, OH. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Betty Goudy, Homer Burke, Jr., Donald Burke, Eva Killilea, James Burke, Ray Burke and Ralph Burke. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 70 years Harold Mefford, children Judy (William) Dawson, Deb (Matt) Oman and Cheryl (Butch) Cottman, grandchildren Nick (Jill) Oman, Kyle (Christine) Oman, Brittney (Paul) Hardin and Rachel Cottman, great grandchildren Noah Oman, Audra Oman, Kate Oman, Luke Oman, Eliza Oman, Nora Hardin and Ella Hardin, siblings Edwin Burke, Richard (Betty) Burke, Patricia Burke and William (Wanda) Burke, several nieces, nephews and friends.


Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 10:30am until time of service at 11:30am. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
