Mary "Rose" Osendott, born October 17, 1934, died March 14, 2008 at home after a courageous battle with Lou Gehrig's Disease. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elisha and Maxine Jobe and brother, Jack Jobe. Rose is survived by her husband, Gene; daughter, Joan (Jonathan) Studer; son, Curt (Patrice) Osendott; beloved granddaughter, Olivia Osendott; beloved grandsons, Matthew, Jason and Michael Studer; sisters, Virginia (Thurman) Osendott, Helen (Robert) Brewer; brothers, Elisha Jobe Jr. and Frank Jobe; and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the ladies at Comfort Keepers and the staff of Odyssey HealthCare Hospice. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 16, 2008 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 17, 2008 at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association, 1170 Old Henderson Road, Suite 221, Columbus, Oh, 43220.
