Mary Odessa Thompson

Mary Odessa Thompson, age 75, passed away on January 8, 2024. She was born in Columbus Ohio to Arlington and Jessie (Murray) Blessing. She later married Frank (Dink)Thompson and together they had a beautiful life.

Mary and Frank were very involved with a few clubs and organizations, The American Legion 144 Auxiliary, 4-S Club (Foresters), V.F.W. # 4044 Aux., and Moose Lodge (Hilliard) #1076 Aux. She loved playing euchre, and bingo with friends and at their clubs. Mary adored her grandkids and being apart of their lives. She also enjoyed traveling with her friends.

Mary is survived by her three sons; Arlie (Julie), Bill (Samantha), Chris (Dorinda) Thompson, grandchildren; Felicity, Jena, Kayla, Chris, Billy, and Jet Thompson. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Frank, and close friends; Mary Hanners, Cheryl Haidys, Linda Brown, Larry Harris, and Nancy Laird.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday January 15, 2024 from 4pm to 7pm at the Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 16, 2024 at 11 am at the Newcomer Southwest Chapel. Mary will be laid to rest beside her husband Frank at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Hillard, Ohio.
