Mary "Cathy" Thornton, age 82 passed away Saturday, February 26, 2005 at her home in Columbus after a short illness. Survivors include her son Michael (Elizabeth) Thornton of New Hampshire; daughters Kathleen (Jeff Jolliff) Balij of Galloway, Ohio and Marliese (William) MacGillis of Columbus. Ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be held from 4-6:00p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 6:00p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2005 at Reformation Lutheran Church, 1315 S. Hamilton Rd. Columbus, Ohio. Services entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, Ohio. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
