Mary Edna Cattrell Young, born on February 20, 1957 in Columbus, OH, passed away May 20, 2024, also in Columbus.
Mary (AKA Mar & E-Mar) is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Paul Young (AKA Banana Man); parents, Judy and Howard O. Cattrell Sr.; grandparents, Florence and Albert Smith; brothers, Howard (Clara) Cattrell and William (Tillie) Cattrell; sisters, Arlene (Leon) Hinkle, Nellie (James) Marcum, and Naomi (Ike) Cox; and nephew, Ronald Cattrell.
She is survived by sister, Jackie (Jim) Taylor and their family: Jamie (Dave) Stoneman, Zachary Stoneman (Z Man), Jeremy (Cindy) Taylor, Jordan (Charles) Vaught, John Howard, and Chelsea Howard; and sisters-in-law, Linda Myllmaki, Margaret Harper, Barbara Young, and Dorothe Young; special nieces and nephews, Bernie (Charissa) Cattrell, Louise (Bob) Kauffman, Paul (Betty) Cattrell, Joe Cattrell, Linda Cox, Diane Cox, Kathy Spence, Kristina Cattrell, and Katianne Cattrell; beloved pets, Red and Harley.
She loved being a member of Judah Tabernacle. Mary was a huge OSU Buckeye Fan.
Visitation Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 10:30am until the time of Funeral Service at 12:30pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Pastor Jeff Leslie to officiate. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary’s honor to Judah Tabernacle, 3176 S. High St., Columbus, OH 43207 or the Franklin County Humane Society.
