Maryah Lee Marcum, 22, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away January 14, 2022. She was born on July 20, 1999 in Columbus to Ronald Lee Marcum Jr. and Ashlie Martin.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ronald; uncle, Dustin Lee Martin; aunt, Crystal Garbline and great-grandfather, William Henry.
Surviving family includes her mother, Ashlie Martin; sons, Junior (Peanut / Matthaw) Maliki; siblings, Noah, Ashtin, Lilyan, Samaira and Kloey; special guys, Sammy and Victor; maternal grandparents, Brenda and Dwayne Martin; paternal grandparents, Ron and Debbie Marcum; uncle, Dwayne Martin II (P.K.); aunt, Amy Henry; many cousins and other extended family and friends.
Maryah was funny and loved to make people laugh. She had a way of catching everyone's attention when she walked into a room, whether it be something funny, unexpected or just her beautiful smile. Maryah was a graduate of Capital High School. She was attending the Ohio State School of Barber and was a certified lash technician. Maryah was a very smart, fun, loving, outgoing, social and very beautiful young girl. Anyone who had a close relationship with Maryah knows how special she was. She was very compassionate, understanding and took every opportunity to help others. Maryah was very family oriented and loved her children dearly. She will be greatly missed by those who love her and those whom would have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to cross paths with her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 25, 2022 from 4pm to 7pm at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will begin at 7pm. All are welcome, but the family asks that those who come to show their respect for Maryah, do so in a loving and honorable way.
