Marybeth Mooter

Mary Beth (Decker) Mooter of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away August 19 following a bout of cancer. She was born March 31, 1954 in Sewickley, PA to the late Harry and Anna Margaret Decker of Baden, PA.

Mary Beth was a 1972 graduate of Rochester High School and a 1976 graduate of Clarion University of PA.
She is survived by her husband, George Mooter of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; brother Thomas (Elaine) Decker, New Brighton, PA; sister Cathy (Rick) Folk of Dillsburg, PA, nieces Rebecca, Lynn Ann and Lauren; her dogs Thor and Finn.

She was the office manager of PetLovers Animal Hospital in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. She and George fostered many dogs over the years and adopted quite a few.

She loved crafting and scrapbooking, making many cherished mementos for family and friends over the years.
She will be remembered for her kind and considerate nature and her great sense of humor, which she inherited from her parents. She was a loving wife, dog mom, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed.

George and family would like to give heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bethany Fryer, Angie, and all the staff at PetLovers Animal Hospital for their help and support during this difficult time.
A memorial tribute will be held on Friday, September 8 2023 from 5:00pm-6:00pm with a funeral service starting at 6:00pm at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
