Marylyn (Simoni) Kish
Age 78, of Columbus and Cleveland, passed away on Saturday, December 21st, at Riverside Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Marylyn was born on December 21, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Joseph and Mary (Williams) Simoni. She is survived by her beloved husband, Raymond; sons, Matthew (Marcia) and Anthony; and grandchildren, Madelyn, Antonio, and Alston Kish.
Marylyn and Ray were united in marriage for 55 wonderful years until her passing. She was an amazing mother to Matt and Anthony, always supporting and cherishing them. She adored her three grandchildren and took great pride in their accomplishments, attending many dance recitals and sporting events to cheer them on.
Marylyn grew up in Shaker Heights and graduated from Solon High School in 1965, where she took cosmetology classes and later worked as a beautician for many years. She then joined the family business, American Commodore Tuxedo, before finishing her career in the employment placement field. Upon retiring, she volunteered at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord. In her later years, she moved to Columbus, where she spent the last decade of her life.
Marylyn leaves behind many cherished friends and family members in both Columbus and Cleveland. Her boundless energy, adventurous spirit, and love for life were infectious. She was the heart of countless gatherings, organizing wine trips, day trips, and Mother's Day outings-always believing the more, the merrier. She was actively involved in car clubs, caregiver groups, craft clubs, and more. She and Ray were also proud members of The Fraternal Order of Eagles. Marylyn's passion for gardening was evident in her beautifully landscaped yards.
She is also survived by her mother, Mary Simoni; her sister, Joann (Simoni) Shaner; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Simoni.
Marylyn's tireless spirit and unwavering support left an enduring mark on all who knew her. She will continue to watch over everyone she loved.
