Masil McCoy

Masil McCoy, 81, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, in Westerville, Ohio. Masil was born on August 23, 1942, in Jennies Creek, West Virginia to Basil and Carrie Parsley.

Masil is preceded in death by her son, Kevin (Nicole) McCoy, and her siblings, John Parsley Jr., and Jess Parsley.

She is survived by her husband, Jobie McCoy Jr., sons, Jobie (Tammy) McCoy III and Charles (Shelly) McCoy, grandchildren, Brianna (Dan) Welch, Demi McCoy, Jobie (Nikki) McCoy IV, Charles McCoy Jr., Caitlyn McCoy, and Kevin McCoy Jr., great-grandchildren, Dominic Vorobiev, Brinley McCoy, Barrett McCoy, and Briggs McCoy, her siblings, Pat Edington, James (Nettie) Parsley, Mary (Carl) Marcum, Carol Maynard, Deleana Howell, Greenway (Delores) Parsley, Garnet Johnson, Grace Kiser, Charles (Kathy) Parsley, and Florence (Glen) Stepp, many nieces and nephews, and special cousin and caregiver Wilma Lee Waller. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A funeral service will also be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Blendon Central Cemetery.
